enter a world of werewolves and wolves, coyotes and creatures. in post-apocalyptic southern canada, four packs and two tribes make their home, vying for survival in the harsh winters. storm, clouded tears, and jaded shadows, and aremys are the four packs of the land. storm is the oldest of the four. clouded tears is the sorrowful sister of the storm pack; it is said a curse lies on the head of the alpha of the pack. jaded shadows is nestled high atop the ashen mountain territory, set apart from the rest of the packs. aremys is the newest of the packs, a combination of a hybrid pack, and a once group of pirates, it is the youngest of the four packs. inferni is the trouble-making coyote clan, scratching out a living on the barren sands of the coast. syemv is the newest of all the groups in bleeding souls: its members came from europe on a ship.
Bleeding Souls has provided an interesting and stimulating in character experience and a laid-back, fun out of character experience to players since 2001. the ezboard has CSC gold and no advertisements. bleeding souls has many contests for members to join--prizes range from customized titles all the way to CSC gold for a year.
Bleeding Souls is set in post-apocalyptic southern Canada/Northern US. It's about five years after the pandemic which killed off the human race and caused a genetic mutation to the average wolf which gave them the ability to shapeshift.
We have a flourishing and friendly Out of Character environment which welcomes new players and accepts them into the group. Pretty much anything goes OOC--we pride ourselves on an open and accepting atmosphere.
The administration consists of a council made of seven members, four of which are the head administrators and four of which are the moderators. The other three moderators are not "disciplinary" moderators, but are general maintenance moderators.
We have a total of 62 characters playing, and a slightly lower number of actual roleplayers, since more than one character is allowed (with restrictions, of course). We average nearly 150 posts per day and have been open for business since November 18, 2001.
The RPG is centered around survival of the fittest, and is more into individual plotting. The point is to get your character wrapped up in everything and create a new history for him or her. Some characters have been played at the RPG for over two years. It's really a writer's RPG, and it's built for you

Their sole end was to create a genetic modification in the human body which created, basically, a "supersolider." Their work included splicing human DNA with the DNA of wolves, big cats, and other dangerous animals. Their projects end work included a man able to withstand a spray of bullets, run up walls, and clear jumps as high as twenty feet. Unfortunately, something went wrong. The man they turned into a superhuman became contaminated with a highly contagious virus, and the virus, nicknamed "Z456" copied itself and absorbed some of the superhuman's DNA, and spread quickly. This virus caused most humans which came in contact with it to die within three days. In six months, the human population was decimated. Government efforts to contain the virus failed miserably, and ninety-seven percent of the human population died of Z456. Only scattered remnants of humans remain in isolated corners of the world (Brazil, Russia, and the United States), and most of the rest of the world became desolated wasteland. Within ten years, however, the animals began to take back the world. Some animals even reacted well to the virus. The animal to most profit from Z456 were those of the genus Canis—the wolves, dogs, and coyotes. These animals gained the ability to shapeshift from their four-legged form to a humanoid two-legged form with dangerous, cat-like claws and heightened senses.
Canines of Europe and Asia adapted to more human lifestyles. They mastered fire and lived in human buildings, enjoying some comforts of human lifestyle. Canines of North and South America, however, retained the typical canine lifestyle, living in the traditional packs with the rules and regulations of the old world. In Southeastern Canada, a cluster of packs developed: Storm, headed by Stormy Blackwolf; Silent Dawn, ruled by Ruby Daimachi; and Shadowed Stars, claimed by Moondust Wolfen.
